OOC:nothing’s happening to me so far

OOC: Actually your character is suffering through a hallucination in where the halls got darker and that beings with white glowing faces start appearing from the walls. To make matters worse you also see Natsuru’s character as one of them and decide to fight against it. But what your character doesn’t know is that Natsuru’s character is having a different hallucination in which the halls are not only different but that Dick (Dressed as a court jester) as pulled out a dagger and is ready to stab his/her’s Character in the heart. I forgot tell the both of you to flip your coins after that. Sorry.

@Dio: As you run closer to the angel it turns it’s head to look at you, to which it simply extends its hand at your direction. You are then sent flying straight towards the wall as the angel uses telekinesis against you. As you make a rough impact on the wall, feeling several bones in your body breaking, you see that the angel has covered both itself and Meredith with the two larger wings on it’s back. You also see that its form, while still being made of light is also now taking on a smoke like appearance.

OOC: @Cthulhu: Damn tails.

As I continue with the spell I can tell how its progressing and how effective it is on Booker due to a side effect of the spell.Bloody hell this isn’t looking good. So far the spell has nullified his chest pain but hasn’t stop the actual heart attack itself, hell its not even slowing it down. His shoulders are slowly connecting themselves back together but again the speed is dreadfully slow, far too slow if we want to live. The only thing that has healed are the deep gashes caused by the Blood Corpse. Damn it Red, hurry up with the elixir!

On Red’s side he has just finished shaking the decanter and has started to heat it up with the lighter. As he does this he thinks about everything that has led to him to this situation. Red stayed in memory lane for about ten minutes until the sound of bubbling brought him back to reality, when he checked on the decanter he saw white smoke coming out from the opening, just like Crow said. Red then hears the sound of bees buzzing inside the decanter. Please don’t tell me that there are ghost bees inside it.Thought Red, as he hands me the decanter, to which I simply grab and force Booker to drink it without saying anything but the words that I’m currently chanting.

OOC: Okay let’s make things interesting here. The elixir will help you but there are side effects to it and with a coin flip you can decide on what it will be. Head for complete ecstasy and euphoria, while tails only gives pain the likes of which can drive anyone close to the brink of madness.

OOC: A little late on that result so by technicality that flip would be pointless. Luckily I’m feeling a bit generous in not making your coin flip a complete waste.

@Meredith: When the angel changed its form its telekinetic grip on you drastically loosen, almost to the point that you can’t feel it. You try making a break for it but just then you feel it grab you again as it pushes you to the ground. Pin to the floor all you can do is watch as the angelic smoke gets closer to you. You feel your mouth open on it’s own and when it does the smoke then dives inside, it also enters in your nostrils and eyes.

OOC: Well Dio is going to try to save ya but let’s do this. Heads he manages to temporally stops whatever the angel is doing. While tails brings in a more interesting result (interesting for me but for you guys hell).

OOC Both of you actually. Your flip is to see how a well your attempt on saving her will be. While Burner’s flip will dictate if your attempt even a had a chance to succeed or not. So yeah no pressure. Oh you got heads so you at least pass but let’s see how Burner fairs.

OOC: I’m going to keep MasterBurner’s coin side a secret for a while but don’t worry I’ll reveal the answer soon.

@Dio: At first you stand there, waiting for your body to regenerate all of your bones back in place. As you watch on what the angel is doing it’s intent on trying to possess Meredith becomes much more clear. Wondering if you have enough to time to save her you then feel all of your bones put back in place, wasting no time you run as fast as you can towards the angel.

OOC: You don’t have to flip a coin on your next post Falcon. Just go nuts on angel and see if you will be the first user to get the ever elusive “get out of death free card”. For refresher, no, the card doesn’t bring you back from the dead, but if your stuck on moment were you life is in danger and you failed to escape then you can use the card to escape and I will not do anything to counter it. Also to get this card you need to save someone else’s life without getting yourself killed.

Booker’s pain had been slightly mended, but he knew the little incantation wasn’t going to save him. He tried not to think about what was in the potion Crow had come up with as Redmond poured it into his mouth. It tasted unpleasant, but he forced himself to drink every last drop.

[OOC: Heads. Lucky me!]

Suddenly, the pain had stopped entirely, replaced with a warm feeling that exceeded any happiness that Booker had experienced before. A wide grin crept up on his face as he started giggling incessantly, rolling on the floor laughing. He got back up as he drew breath a few moments later. “So, heheh, what do I do next with this fine company?” He twirled around as he said that, arms extended. He would’ve noted how foolish he looked had he been in his normal state of mind.

In the pure heat of the moment, Dio doesn’t even begin to realize that his arms had frozen over, weirdly, and that he just let out a guttural war cry of URYYYYYYYY! He rushes for the angel’s head, and grabs onto it. In an instant, the head is frozen solid, and the freezing is creeping towards the main body. Dio then begins beating the absolute shit out of the head, with the last punch absolutely shattering the ice to bits. (Or just placing a lot of cracks in the ice, if you don’t want it dead just yet.) Dio then regains his senses.
Dio: Oh, shit… not again… You okay over there?
He’s referring to both Meredith and Jamie.

OOC: Congratulations Caption you are the first person to have the elusive “death free card”. Use it wisely my friend. Also the angel is not dead yet.

Um is Booker suppose to act this way after drinking this stuff?Asked a confused Red, as I finish up on putting both the knife and decanter back in the luggage. “Honesty kid I was more worry about the fact that the experimental nature of the potion would cause it to backfire on me somehow. But seeing that it didn’t I now know that I’m on the right track on how to make more of them in the future.” As I zip up the language I go to Red and whisper to him. “though there are some side effects that are bound to show up after Booker is done being Mr. Sunshine.” I then look at Booker "But I will admit that this one is new to me. Most of times my “patients” are screaming in utter agony."

I then get up from the floor and walk to Booker with both my hand in my coat pockets. “That potion that you drank amplifies all healing based spells. I knew that one I was doing wasn’t going to be enough on it’s own, it was dealing with too many things at once, it was never going to fix all of them. It wasn’t meant to do that but if given something charge it then it would go beyond it’s limitations. In fact;” I then pull out my left hand and see that all the blisters and burns are slowly regenerating, I let out a whistle. “My that was one hell of a potion, too bad I had enough for only one.” I then put my left hand back in my pocket as I turn to where Dio, Jamie, Meredith are. “Oi! What are you three doing over there?” I said as I make way towards them.

OOC:

@Cthulhu: I’ll tell you what are the side effects later. As for now just deal with the one you have now until either you get bored with it or I say it’s done.

And then she sees Crow making his way on over.

Dio then walks over to Crow.
Dio: About the angel: I have NO fucking clue how i got there OR what it’s done, but that lady over there,
He points to Jamie
Dio: Told me to help save the other one. And do not question how exactly it got frozen. It’s a… Special thing I can do. Just… Ignore it for now. I’ll explain later, once we’re out of this whole mess.
Dio begins to walk away from Crow, but stays in the room.

I already have my suspicion on what you are mate. Just have to wait for the right time to trigger that bomb shell.I though as I turn away from Dio to Jamie. “Jamie right? Well it’s only fair that I answer your question first before I throw out mines. Yes it’s bad thing that the Blood Corpse disappeared and you want know why? Because that means that it was a projection.” I see Jamie giving me a confused look on that one “Forgot that your new to this, a projection is either a human being, an animal, a monstrous creature, or a random change in reality that originates from our minds, kinda like tulpas but in someways not like a tupla.”

I then turn my sights to the ice angel “Listen I’ll tell you more about them later but for now I need to know more about this fella here?” I said, as the angel continue on it’s croaking, now trying to break free from the ice but it’s only making more cracks appear on it’s body.

Dio turns to her.
Dio: I’m putting out a theory that it’s a matrix-type thing. Your brain can’t handle the stress dying to something imaginary that is very realistic, so it shuts down and kills you in real life. Or something like that.

“Hey Booker! Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side!” Booker laughed hysterically and Jack laughed at him. “Just the to lighten the mood, know what I mean? Now where the hell did those chicks and the magician get off to? I’d best find ’em before they get themselves killed.”

Dec 30, 2013 at 04:29PM EST

“Actually the matrix theory is kinda close.” I then take out coin and start showing the coin’s sides. “Imagine that one side of the coin represents what we call reality while the other side is imaginary, Projections stand right in the middle between the two.” I said, moving my finger across the edge of the coin. “If you were to encounter one without knowing what it actually is then the projection is real. The only way to expel them is to meet it face to face and with no fear, try to use your will to banish it away.”

I then clench my fingers around the coin. “There are problems to this methods. The first being that if you have even a sliver of doubt that the creature isn’t a projection then it stays being real, this process works if you fully believe that it isn’t real. The next being that the projection has a will of it’s own and if it’s will is stronger than yours, well then you’re fucked. Also please don’t do this against actual monsters, you’re just gonna look silly doing that… and dead too.”

I then open my clenched hand to reveal that the coin has disappeared. I turn to the spot where the angel is. “Our frozen friend here on the other hand is quite real, I’ve been trying to will him away but with no obvious luck as you all can see. In fact I didn’t even feel it fighting back, suggesting that it’s mind is no longer in it’s body. I wonder, if the mind is no longer in the body then where did it go?”

OOC: Kasumi is basically having an hallucination that the halls have been changed to have a Victorian/Edwardian design. What she doesn’t know is the fact that Dick is having a different sort of hallucination and is currently seeing you as a monster. Now Dick wants to beat the lively crap out of you cause he thinks his in danger, but from your view point he pulled out a dagger is trying to stab you, also he’s wearing a court jester outfit and both of you failed on your flips. So try acting out on what happens.

OOC: Okay I was a bit thrown off about the fact that both Natsuru And Kebab but now I finally have an idea how this will go down. Also Natsuru consider yourself lucky that Kebab failed, otherwise he would have killed you.

@Dick: As you throws the first punch the floor beneath you suddenly breaks as his right leg goes through the new hole, throwing your aim off and causing you to fall.

@Kasumi: On your point of view Dick just thrust his dagger at you when suddenly the floor breaks beneath him, causing his aim to be thrown off as the dagger hits a new target. The dagger cuts across your shoulder and before you even have a chance to react to the pain Dick falls on top of you. Before you can even punch him for trying to kill you the floor breaks again and the two of you fall through the floor.

OOC: Let’s see here. Heads for the landing to be painful but manageable, you know a few cuts, a few bruises, a sprain body part or two, nothing to cry home to mother about. But tails on the other hand will be both interesting and excruciating for the both of you.

WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?” Booker cackled at the frozen face of the Angel. Oddly enough, he was still able to make random cultural references even while euphoric.

“But seriously,” he said as he (relatively) simmered down, doing his best to not laugh too much, “I’m really not sure what’s next on our to-do list. Other than to lighten up, maybe, such as Jack over there has.” An insane grin stretched across his face once more. “CROSSED THE ROAD, HE DID! HOO-HOO-HOO!”

“To be honest Booker I have no idea. I’m just guessing on places that can help us but really I’m about as clueless as the rest of you.” I admitted, feeling a bit ashamed that I really can’t find a way out of here. Just then I remember about the note Dio gave me, I then reach into my coat and took out the note, reading everything written on it again. "That’s it! These lost halls that the note mentions might have the key to our escape! Wait, let me see the map of this place.’ I then take out the pamphlet and turn to the page with the map. “Huh, this is strange? An entire section of the hotel has been erased, I wonder why? Most likely that’s where the lost halls are.”

As I put both the pamphlet and note back into my coat I see that Kintobor is still in the same spot where we found him, only now it looks like he passed out and is holding a cream colored envelope on his hand.Strange, I don’t remember seeing an envelope with him the last time I saw him?” *I thought, as I make my way towards Kintobor.

"It seems that the Queen is inviting us to a “special performance” in some place called the forgotten room. Apparently it’s located on the seventh floor." I continue to read the letter “Also there might be some things from the attic that might be useful for us. Called it. Come on mates were going up and this time were using the elevator.”

“..Um..Don’t you think that’s a bad idea, Crow?” Jamie worriedly looked around, then it hit her that this was the group’s only chance to get out of this place. “Actually, let’s go.” She started running towards the nearest elevator.

Before Dio gets in the elevator, he pulls out a pack of cigarettes, takes one out and puts it in his mouth. He then takes out a lighter, flicks the lighter open, and lights the cigarette. Once everyone was in the elevator I finally let go of the open door button and watched as the doors closed, leaving Kintobor’s body behind. “Sorry there Red but the poor sod bleed himself to death. Even if it was a projection the damn thing still kills like an actual Blood Corpse, either it drains you dry or you slowly bleed to death if you escape. Hey Dio can you pass me a cigarette here.” As Dio gives me a cigarette the elevator suddenly stops, trapping us inside. I really don’t need to use a sixth sense to know that everyone in the group is pissed at me. “What? I really didn’t want to take the stairs after that last encounter.”

Don’t worry folks this is just a small hiccup. I’ll get this thing working you’ll see.” The next few minutes were nothing more but me failing to get the key to turn while also making a fool of myself at the same time. In the end I gave up when I realized that something is preventing the keys power from working, feeling defeated I pressed my back to the wall and slid down to the wall, placing my hands on my face in shame. “Great. OOC: Okay I’m adding a new rule. Players can be inactive for two weeks, why two weeks? Cause I understand that at times things in real life can get in the way. Once you’re finished reading this then the two weeks rule begins if you’re inactive.

As I sit on my little shame corner I begin to hear four members of the groups screaming about losing one of their senses. I heard Dio say that he suddenly lost the taste of his cigarette, Jamie screaming that she can’t feel anything that she touches, Jake screaming about his lost sense of hearing, while Red seems to be questioning on why he can’t smell anything. Needless to say the moment you lose one of your senses and then suddenly lose another it can cause people to panic.

Once the lights when out, Booker lost that ‘happy place’ feeling that had engulfed him earlier. An unpleasant metallic taste started to form in his mouth – it was probably there to begin with, but he hadn’t noticed it in his bliss. “Oh, great.” He kept a level head while all the screaming went about, but it was getting to irritate him. Much like how his skin was starting to itch, come to think of it. He started scratching the back of his neck in a way reminiscent of a nervous habit.

Suddenly, Booker stopped itching and he started cackling. But it wasn’t like his earlier, mirthful laughter – there was a haunted sound to it, almost like that of an unearthly being. He couldn’t understand why, either – the itchy feeling hadn’t gone away, and there was nothing funny about the situation. He tried to stop, but the cackling continued – leaving him at his most unnerved since taking the potion.

Much like how Booker began laughing for almost no reason, so did Meredith. Perhaps it was a way of coping with fear. She wasn’t even sure why she was laughing herself. To top it off she keeps glancing around nervously.

OOC: I like to make a change to my recent rule. Two weeks will instead be changed to just a week, I realize that two weeks was too much. Also I think I’m going to repeat a past supernatural shenanigan just to get Kasumi and Dick to officially join the group.

@Kasumi and Dick:When the two of you fall through the floor instead of hitting whatever was beneath you two are falling through a pitch black void, in which there seems to be no end. As both of you’re descent into darkness continues the two of you begin to hear loud, distorted noises coming from all over the void. When the two of you begin to think that you’ll both be trapped in the void you suddenly crash land on the floor, on top of the group.

“Great, people are falling from the ceiling. I suppose you guys are completely lost about what’s going on here.” I said to our new companions seeing them or at least their auras. You see mages, along with magic also possess what you might call a magical intuition, allowing us to not only perform magic much easier but also giving us some other abilities too, one of them being able to see Kirlian auras. From everyone’s auras I can see what’s lurking in the dark and is causing half of the groups sensory problems. “Shit Tenebraes! I knew it was a matter of time before we would run into them! But I didn’t expect that we would meet them trapped in an elevator!” I said, looking around the elevator.

OOC: Sorry for the long wait there guys but a combination of Rayman Legends and temporary writer’s block slowed me down.

Fun Fact: We totally beat Grannies World Tour 8-bit edition!
But no, I’m not here to derail this thread, (Wouldn’t do that to family!) I’m here to give an overdue Fun Fact! Or rather, a Fun Fact Soiree!

*When doing coin flips, he does a best 3 out of 5 rule where whichever result comes up three times is it!

*Brother mentions someone else of great importance… I wonder who he could be?

*The Queen in Black has a reason for all of her actions, and I think someone in particular in this group should be the most scared by now!

*The Queen does in fact have a back story! I think something happened over in New York, or was it somewhere else? Or am I thinking of someone else?
