This has been gaining steam on tumblr over the weekend. The first instance was a screencap from the film Get Smart, featuring Bill Murray in a tree.

I didn't even have to look that up, I just knew it. That scene is the best, he's so lonely in that tree, it's hilarious. Anyway I digress.

From that shot, people have been adding the caption to other scenes.

So that's pretty much it. Should be an easy entry to make for whoever wants to tackle it.

One more:

They seem to be associated mostly with death and destruction.

I'll take this one if I can find enough examples, if you don't mind me sniping your idea.

But I'd have to do a couple searches on Tumblr first for an origin and some derivatives, which shouldn't be hard at all.
