Im getting sick of this. You are putting here too much non-meme stuff. You could collect only about 2 pages of real memes here. Some of the so-called ’’memes’’ here are just popular things on youtube or internet. If there’s made a motivational made from something stupid said in TV it doesn’t make it a meme. See, this happens when some fools start thinking that they know something about internet. You need the opinion from people of the internets. If the real 4chan could fix this place up, there would be like maximum 3 pages left. Clean up, this is seriously stupid.

OK, james is a little blunt.

But the fact of the matter is if you saw on the mid-upper left corner of the homepage before you logged in you’d see “Documenting Internet phenomena: viral videos, image macros, catchphrases, web celebs and more…” We’re not all about 4chan, there’s more to the internet than 4chan. You say some of the memes are things that are popular on the internet or Youtube. Those things are usually memes (with some exceptions).

But, feedback is important to us so it’s appreciated that you spoke your opinion.

Does a million views make a meme, no, but if it was spread around on the internet for long enough, people make remixes, parodies, mutations etc. Then it’s a viral video, then it can be entered into our database of internet phenomena. Not necessarily a meme, but internet phenomena.
