Ok, i’ve been noticing a trend going on, called “goat edition”. basically, the meme takes popular songs, and adds goat noises to bits of the songs. the reason why i’m making this thread is because it now seems to be quite popular, the most viewed one (to my knowlege) is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpfQSqfpuac and there are already several channels already centered around it, and there’s also a subreddit at /r/goatedition. i’m not sure if it’s a submeme of the yelling goat meme and has been around for years, or if this has been going on only for a few days, because if you search “goat edition” on youtube, you’ll see most popular ones have only been uploaded a few days ago.
basically, i want to know a few things.
number 1, were did the goat clips come from,
number 2, is this recent, or has this been going on for years?
number 3, is it worthy of its own article?
number 4 what is the earliest one?
So those are the things i want to know.

I noticed, not even an hour ago, actually.

So I say +1 wait, it seems to be trending.

However, what opspe mentioned should be kept in mind, since it doesn’t seem to be new, that entry could have an addition added to it.

This is by far the most popular instance:

Sidenote: a bunch of guys in my math class are obsessed with this song. They keep playing it and singing it. I’m confused and annoyed by it.
