So last night, Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish was on the verge of pitching a perfect game against the Houston Astros. When he was one out away, Marwin Gonzalez hit a first pitch base hit through Darvish's leg thus breaking up his perfect game/no hitter. After the game ended, MLB Memes exploded with posts about Darvish's almost perfect game. There were some Twitter trends as well. The most crucial part is that Rangers fans vandalized Gonzales' Wikipedia page such as calling him ugly face, saying that he bats while going to the toilet, and reported that Gonzalez was killed by an angry mob. I know there's not enough spread, but sooner or later, I think we need to have an entry on this event.
