I've noticed that there a few variants of this scene for Calvin and Hobbes:

While I don't think Calvin and Hobbes alone is note worthy to be a Subculture on the internet, I'm curious what people think about making something for parodies of this exact scene.

We're still trying to nail down the first appearance of the artwork in print, I added you as an editor to the entry, any help would be appreciated~

Alright. I'm pretty sure you already saw, but I was able to track down the original version of the image to The Calvin and Hobbes Lazy Sunday Book that was released in 1988. I also added quite a bit more images. Not sure If I can do a whole lot more in terms of article work, but we'll see. I have one Idea I sent to Molly a little bit ago.
