Darude Sandstorm is probably worth for an entry. Because it's one of the biggest cliche and bait of the internet.
But i dunno anything more than this. So i am kinda hesitated to open an entry. Is there anything to cover up?
Urban Dictionary defines it. Second definition claims that LOL community have populated it.. But there are more dislikes than likes.. So, i dunno how much we can trust that.
There are also Japanese gay porn MAD's and mashups of this song..
I am sure this music has more than these..

Yeah, the Twitch chat always spams this in response, when someone asks what song is currently playing on the streamers playlist.

And of course some streamers have taken Sandstorm on their playlists, just to mess with people. It used to be a pretty popular song back in the day, but I dunno how/why Twitch chat took such a liking to it, and brought it back to popularity (assuming it is the chat that first started it).

There are also some variations like Dongdude Dongstorm after people have been spamming Raise Your Dongers earlier on the chat. It's a widely known thing amongst Twitch chat. I personally haven't seen it outside Twitch all that often, but that doesn't mean it's not known elsewhere.

So you say Twitch baits made it popular? How can we prove that?
I dunno, i have only seen it on youtube comments.
Oh look.. It looks like we have a good source for now..
