I am seeing over the past week the possible birthing of a meme, via the labeling of the protests in Hong Kong as "The Umbrella Revolution". Is this going to get added here, or has it been added here?

Hongkonger here. I think the front page header of the article needs to be changed a bit. Much of the violence related to Occupy Central happened on the first day of the protests, after which the riot police were pulled back. There hasn't been any major clashes between police and protestors since.

At least for the moment, it's not a crackdown on the same level as Egypt and Turkey.
