Are they memes? Or annoying Copy pasta?

But what I’m wondering is if this should be filed under Copy Pasta.

Maybe.
But it’s not YouTube exclusive.

Chain-comments are both memes and annoying copypasta. I wouldn’t go so far as to make a general meme entry for all chain comments, but if you have specific ones, they’d definitely deserve meme entries.

Some ideas:

There are a ton more, but these things are a classic case of the contagious behavior present in internet memes.

I was also talking about the ones like “post this to 5 other videos or you will die a strange death”
