"Danjo" and "Convenience store"- memes or not?

I recenly discovered a group of videos on Youtube- flash animations put to some Japanese songs, called “Danjo” and “convenience store”. There’s many variations of them, like Brawl ones, Pokemon ones or from an anime. Not sure about the originals but
Are these considered memes or not, and does anyone know what the original videos are?

To be honest, the definition of a meme is really vague, constantly changing, and always evolving.
The better question to ask is “is it worth documenting?”

If you don’t know much about the meme, then it’s probably not worth documenting.

That’s pretty much what I meant, if it’s worth documenting. I think so, because I would consider it a “meme”.
Also, I want to know the origin, I can’t find anything.

You can write up what you know and add it to Submissions, but the less information you’re able to provide, the longer it will sit in the Submissions queue. We typically recommend that people only submit memes that they know something about already.

Basically, you should be able to tell us why you think it’s worth documenting, rather than asking if it is. More often than not, I look at a submission and see nothing that’s noteworthy until someone who understands the meme can provide more context.

In short: write about what you know about.
