A few years ago these videos made the usual 4chan rounds and became a minor meme. They appear to feature people with Downs Syndrome doing a poetry slam, presumably for some camp or help program or something. They were promptly made fun of in that particularly repulsive way unique to the Internet, then kind of faded into obscurity.

I personally don't like these videos, and that's precisely why I was wondering where they came from. Are these actors? Or was there really a program somewhere that carefully edited these videos for the families involved and had them leaked to the public? Does anybody know?
