Ah, is this just a catchphrase or is it on image macros?

catchphrase or like I don’t know how to put it.

Actors who keep the same type acting for every film they do.

How about that one movie where Jason Statham fights a bunch of bad guys, has sex with a lot of women, and says a lot of witty one-line comebacks?

@Topic at hand – It’s hard to say whether or not this would be a meme as this type of dialogue and “mimicry” has been around before the Internets (see Silvester Stalone and Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, for instance).

Still, I see 4chan and other forums like Reddit have threads dedicated to this exact topic (usually starting off with your “Michael Cera” example).

If you consider doing an article for KYM’s consideration, I can try and help with the research a bit.

You could try something like “Typecast Movie Actor” or something implementing the words “Character Actor” or “Typecast Actor.” Unfortunately, I haven’t had coffee at the time of typing this reply, so my creative juices are somewhat lacking at the moment.
