They are pretty obscure, I'll give you that. It's not that I don't like the super popular stuff, it's just a case of overhype. I base my lists on how much fun I had watching them, and I tend to have more fun with shows that surprise me, rather than the ones I knew were going to be good going in.

The majority are hardly moe though. I have like, 4 moe shows on there, 9 if I were to really stretch it. You know my preferences, why would I of all people go out of my way to watch moe?

It took 6 posts before boku no Pico was mentioned. I am genuinely surprised it took that long.

I don't think Baby Steps would be your thing, it's a sports show, and it doesn't exactly look the best. I just found it really charming and relaxing to watch, it's a very different from other sports anime in that it's actually realistic, it's not like all the players have super powers. I just thought it was really funny and interesting. Woefully under appreciated.

I would make a list of top 5 hentai, but er, it would a) have to be yaoi, and if that's the case b) there are literally no good yaoi out there.

Well after finally finishing Stein's Gate I can safely say it would be nestled comfortably in between Attack on Titan and Cowboy Bebop. Absolutely loved it. It's not too often that you see time travel dealt with in such an interesting way.

Also, Clannad gets an honorable mention because the first half was pretty boring and basically just a visual novel in anime form, but the second half gave me feels like nothing has ever felt before.
