The Also Trending Bar

I have often woundered why is that little white square there on the also trending bar, just that I have wounder why it’s there.

It’s not fully a sqaure more like a blur thing just woundered it’s been there for a while

That’s because you use adblock. Normally the part right of that white space is covered by ads. If that white space wasn’t there, the also trending bar would be abruptly interupted by the ads. Now it just slowly fades.

The fading is there BECAUSE you use adblock.

It would look bad if it didn’t fade without adblock.

For example:

And here it is without the fade away

I think we all can agree the one without the fade away looks much worse.

So yeah, the fade away should stay. We don’t have to cater to people who aren’t giving us ad-revenue.

Also, possibly being tangential here, but how exactly does the also trending bar work? Is there a certain amount of views or something?
