So I was looking through older users' profiles, and came across this:
From what it seems, the "activity" bar now hides any activity from 2-3 weeks ago. Is there anything that can be done about it, or was it intended?
It's the opposite for me, infact:
It seems to double posts my activities even though they were not double posted.
(I assume this is a glitch for me as well)

That's actually a side-effect you get from following yourself: Anyone who has figured out how to follow themselves has double activity.
