Residual posts from an old banned spammer (cheapshoesonline):

Following that last post, I also found a huge amount of spam in the comments for Chatroulette reactions, mostly advertising various Chatroulette clones or related sites. Some of those comments may seem potentially relevant at first, if only for being related to Chatroulette, but advertising somesuch chat site is all those posters ever did with their accounts (in their comment(s) and sometimes additionally in their user profile).

The following are from the first page of comments. Admittedly, I got tired of copypasting after that. If these types of posts/posters are worthy of removing, please review the other pages which contain more. ( page 2 | page 3 )

User banned but comment remains:

User not banned and comment(s) remain(s):

mandiquita
erikax
danypelletier
chatroulettealternative
chatrouletteitaliana
chatmania
pinarlolo
crazychatroulette
slcroulette – might qualify as a good faith attempt to be helpful, though all they did with their account is promote that blog
jabberluvr – posted a video that was removed by YouTube for nudity/sexual content, in addition to advertising some website.
boytoulette01
anon123456 – not entirely sure what they’re going on about. Linked a downloadable program, from the sounds of it. Not following the link. Looked up the domain; worthless site.

Again, that’s all just from the first out of three pages of comments. Lots of spam.

The protocol for removing comments automatically when banning is somewhat recent. Those posts are ancient. Admins are the only ones who can delete comments anyways.

Mhhm, I remember hearing that earlier on in this thread when I listed some old-era spam comments, though someone did delete those. I admittedly haven’t been checking on followups here more recently; if certain kinds of spam aren’t worth the effort, let me know. I’ve just been trying to report whatever I find. :)

This one’s an interesting one. We were talking about Courage the Cowardly Dog and it actually talked about the show as well like a real human being! Obviously, the usual ad link gave it away, but that’s still bloody impressive for a spambot.

Anyone might want to check the General forums. Advertisments threads are usually created there.

Found this bot’s only comment on the Mormon Porn article. People thumbed down the comment, why don’t they report these things?
