Chris has been locking threads like this. He hasn't said why, and I don't see the harm in them (because Patrick got one, and I don't think that one was locked) but I'm guessing it's partially due to the fact that it's easy to start making threads like this for every user if no one says anything about it. There have been a few made today, so there may be some logic to that, and as such, I'm following Chris' suit.
