So I love gaming, therefore I have quite a few games and consoles. However, I have a habit of being able to get through games in no time, meaning a lot of the time, i'm just replaying games i've finished, which can get boring. I have a fair bit of money and am ready to update my video game library. However, at the risk of wasting money on a game I won't enjoy (I also have a habit of picking up bad games) I want to see what you think I should get. Here are the consoles I currently own:
Nintendo 64
Gamecube
Wii
DS
3DS
Sega Mega drive
NES
Game boy advance
PS3
PS2
SNES
What games should I get? I really want to get some new gamecube games especially. However, I have no intentions of getting an xbox and I dislike war games (COD Battlefield etc.) So don't reccomend them

Tell us some of your favorite games so we can give better ideas of the kind of games you'd like.

Gamecube: Super Mario Sunshine, one of my favourite games of all time. You could also get Mario Kart double dash.
DS: Scribblenauts, Super Scribblenauts. Both are neat games.
That's all I can think of, for now…

Telling us your favorite genres would also help.

Ico & Shadow of Colossus remake for the PS3
My friend likes Jak and Daxter games. Try those.
I like any genre really, except war games as previously mentioned
Well Nintendo systems rarely cover shooter games so that's good I guess.
How about listing some games you have a general interest in and then we could go from there.

SNES: I would say Earthbound, but it's CRAZY expensive on Ebay.
Gamecube: Definitely Mario Sunshine and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
DS: The 4th and 5th gen Pokemon games. If you're not into Pokemon, there are games like New Super Mario Bros.
3DS: I've heard good things about Kid Icarus: Uprising and that remake of LOZ: Ocarina of Time. I also recommend Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.
Mega Drive: Definitely the older Sonic games.
NES: The classic Mario games are good, and Megaman and Castlevania offer a nice challenge.
PS3: Both LittleBigPlanet games, and ModNation Racers.
PS2: Some of the older Need For Speed games, like Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, or Underground 2.
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Animal Crossing (Gamecube version)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Melee, original
I'd play the Rock Band series. It has a more variety of songs besides Guitar Hero. If your not a fan of rhythm games, then I'd go with Sonic Adventure.

I live in england so the price would be crazier
The genres I love the most would have to be JRPG, Platform, Strategy and sim

Viewtiful Joe?
The quoted post has been deleted.
Have most F-zero games as well. The only one I don't like is the GBA version. Good thing it was part of ambassador project so I didn't have to pay

I agree.
Sega Saturn is awesome, especially if you can get one of those region-unlocker cartridges.
I have one myself. How I wish Sega would revisit Clockwork Knight…

Actually, seeing that you have a PS3 has given me some ideas.
Granted they're all racers, but that's all I can think of if you don't like shooting things and blowing stuff up.
- DiRT and DiRT 2. Don't bother with the third, it sucks.
- Burnout Paradise. I don't need to tell you why.
- Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. Just plain fun.
Those four are the best I can come up with.

I didn't say I hate shooting games, just games about warfare. I love Uncharted, Mass Effect and GoldenEye

In that case, Fallout 3 needs to be up there.
And I know I'm going to get negged for posting this, but you should still get an original Xbox, not a 360.
Solely for Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge.
It's not about warfare, unlike other aerial combat games; and it's not a simulator, unlike other non-military flight games.
It's a game about piracy. Sky pirates, to be exact.
Need for speed games where you escape from the police are hilarious, the CPUs are crap!

Xenoblade Chronicles is a great RPG for the Wii. It's the only game I've been playing since April.
Well if old school early 90's PC games are being included, then I might as well mention Return to Zork, and any of the Myst series.

High Road to Revenge was an Xbox 1 exclusive, released in either '03, '04 or '05.
Try getting the original Spyro Trilogy for the PS1. Since you have a PS2, they should work fine. The games take a while to beat since getting all the missions completed is an absolute pain.

I got that last year in august (europe remember?)
Has nobody suggested Mario Galaxy 2? Because it's one of the best games ever made.
Monster Hunter Tri for Wii if you have Classic Controller. It's almost unplayable with Wiimote. The online community is pretty crowdy,so you'll probably have no trouble finding people to help you.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is great, unless it's too warfare-y for you.

Okami
Or Touhou
NES-Castlevania ;Castlevania Dracula's Curse; Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; Ghostbusters; Silver Surfer
SNES; Wayne's World; Caslevania 4; Shaq Fu; Wizard of Oz
Some of those suck, but it'll be harder/take more time to beat.
