Tick-tock, tick-tock… Ding! It’s story time! Here, you (obviously) make stories from any genre. I’m too busy to make a story right now, so go crazy without me!

And I did it in limerick form, too.

There once was a thread requesting OC
Despite the lack of it given by OP
MDF did the OP mock
With remarks that were stock
Then we saw a star with the same name as me.

“This”, I thought to myself quite audibly,
“Is surely some type of site-oddity.”
Maybe the story that I write
Might make this thread alright
Turn it into a forum commodity.

But alas, simple writing is no fun,
With such simplicity I would soon be done
Oh! Limericks I’ll create!
That would be so great!
Soon myself I’ll already have outdone!

Now I’ll finally tell my tale- I’ll start,
A story of a man who had a warm heart
In Philly was he born,
But from here he was torn,
When his mom told him his town he must part.

You see…

He was playing sports recreational
When some guys came by, confrontational
They were up to no good,
And in his neighborhood,
He fought for his hood representational.

He implored his mother to reconsider,
For him to stay in Philly he bid her,
But she packed some clothes,
In a suitcase she closed
Acted like he plead because he’s a kidder

She gave him a kiss and then a ticket,
And he said oh well, might as well kick it.
The plane ride was nice,
Champagne on ice?
“This could be alright, might be pretty wicked.”

The flight was one that he of course survived
A taxi he called, and when it arrived
The license plate read “FRESH
The mirror with dice was dressed
The whole automobile looked quite contrived,

But all this did he shrug off with a haste
For he knew there was no time to waste
In the taxi he sat
Like a big cool cat
Internally, for the worst he did brace.

He arrived at the house around seven, eight
Told the cabbie they’d meet at a later date
He was already there,
In sweet, sweet Bel-Air,
He liked it, his anxiety did abate.

He was there to sit on the throne of Bel-Air,
Become the freshest prince anywhere near there.
He wasn’t it though
Another sat in the throne
To Carlton, Will you just can’t compare.

TL;DR

Carlton is better than Will. Just look at him dance.

This is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside-down
And I’d like to take a minute and just sit right there
And tell you how I became the Prince of a town called Bel-Air.

In West Philadelphia, born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool
And all shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys, they were up to no good
Startin’ makin’ trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said, "You’re moving with your aunt and uncle in Bel-Air

I begged her and pleaded her day after day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket.
I put my walkman on and said, ‘I might as well kick it’.

First class, yo this is bad
Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass.
Is this what the people of Bel-Air Living like?
Hmmmmm this might be alright.

But wait I hear there’re prissy, wine all that
Is Bel-Air the type of place they send this cool cat?
I don’t think so, I’ll see when I get there
I hope they’re prepared for the prince of Bel-Air

Well, the plane landed and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out
I ain’t trying to get arrested
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightening, disappeared

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I can say this cab is rare
But I thought ‘Now forget it’ – ‘Yo homes to Bel Air’

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie ‘Yo homes smell ya later’
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day.

6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning--the second day.

9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning--the third day.

14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day.

20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning--the fifth day.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.
2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
First chapter of an old book that many had read. Might even be called the most famous book. The book’s name is translated into book.
THE BIBLE.
