Behold! For the incomparable scientific knowledge of Trollish researchers have unlocked the secrets to levitation at will! Simply follow the steps outlined in the diagram below, and fly as high as you please!

Can it lift faster than gravity pulls down?

Let's say… an increase speed of 9.8 meters every second?

Nigga, please.

It lifts at 42 meters per second. Anyone who knows physics knows electromagnetism is stronger than gravity.

You know that air resistance and the third of Newton's law of motion must be factors in this predicament!

A large sheet or plate of metal should create strong air resistance, and it is nearly impossible to get something like that to balance correctly! You'd have to pinpoint the exact center and place both feet evenly spaced from each other from the center! And the sheer weight of a large sheet or plate of metal will make it impossible to be lifted by just two measly magnets!

Yes, technically that's true. However, whereas there is only one type of gravity, there is both a negative charge (meaning an excess of electrons) and a positive charge (meaning a low number of electrons) for electromagnatism. In most situations the two cancel each other out, making the force not that powerful at all.
Oh, and that Troll Physics image you got up there isn't even trying. It's so obvious that, if the magnets were really that strong, they'd just fly out of your hands.

What about 3 Magnets? It should balance everything out like a table. Also, at what distance should the magnets be held to slowly descend or hover?

Not to mention that steering the damn thing will be a nuance.

The easiest and economic way is just simply grab yourself and pull yourself up with your arm.

O rly? Just "pull yourself up" with no leverage?

Why would we bother with magnets if we could just pull ourselves up? No my friend, magnetism is indeed the solution for flight.

Step 1. Attach Flashlights to bottom of shoes
As light is emitted you will gain the same velocity in the opposite direction
Enjoy Lightspeed travel

In that case, shouldn't we be blasted off in the opposite direction if we were to hold flashlights with our hand?

Why can't we just make something that can utilize air resistance to create lift?
