Embarrassing fears General

I’ll start. I’m pretty embarrassed to tell people dolls freak me out. I had a bad experience with dolls when I was a kid. It didn’t really have any effect till I saw some Child’s Play way back when. They continue to freak me the hell out when I’m around them. I feel like their eyes follow me and they are plotting to kill me. This also extends to weird or odd looking stuffed animals.

I admit to having a fear of being humiliated for failing at a task. I don’t know why but its always been something that has made me anxious about doing just about anything before I do it. Everything turns out fine usually and when I do fail, I’m never berated for it but that fear is still there.

All my fears revolve around not knowing what other people think of me, and thus I am always trying to do stuff to impress the general crowd.

Also, I have an irrational fear of roller coasters that bring you upside-down.

I know that fear bro.

I was once afraid of Movie Theaters.

Regular Theaters I was okay with, but something about MOVIE theaters scared me for a while.

I got over it after I watched the Spongebob Squarepants movie though, weirdly enough.

As for a current fear, anything to do with viruses/bacteria/stuff on the cellular level.
But I’m incredibly interested in Biology at the same time… God damn my brain.

Ever since I went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom when I was much younger, I’ve been terrified of 3D movies. I don’t know if its still there or not but they have an attraction there called It’s Tough to Be a Bug. It was kind of like a 3D movie but they added in being able to feel things like a termite spitting out “acid” at the audience. As a result, I developed a fear of those kinds of movies and the recent trend of cinema-release movies being in 3D has infuriated me to no end.

Alone…
Just being alone…

The thought of everyone’s absence in a place you know and love dear to your heart is just frightening and sad. I can’t stand being alone in my school in a lone hallway.
I start to shed tears, not joking.

I have nightmares where I have my reality changed where no one is present. Everyone gone, the cars empty, everything still but the streetlights and cars in traffic. My nightmares keep shifting between the places I’ve experienced but with no one there, and after searching I get shifted somewhere else in a blink of an eye in the nightmare. Near the end of my nightmares I see a lone person (family, crush or friend), I walk up and fog settles in, they vanish and I suddenly wake up.

I hate it so much.
It’s a fear I have to get used to because this creepy nightmare shit has been happening for two months. I can’t stop waking up getting frightened. Which is why I love school and going for sunset jogs to the beach. I know there will be people there so I feel safe and calm. I don’t like to leave school, ever.

I know it’s a fear that isn’t very frightening to any of you guys…but to me it’s a reality nightmare. I start to go crazy in isolated place. You guys probably don’t understand. It breaks me mentally.

I have a fear of very large heights.
Roller coaster heights are what I’m fine with. But when I look down…
My teeth chatter and I get a tingling sensation around my butt area.

And I have a slight fear of closets. And the dark.
Imagine having to look through your clothes in a closet… in the dark.
shivers

I have a fear of hypodermic needles. Anything else, I’m fine.
Knives, sewing needles, nails, I’ve been stabbed by all of them, I made no big deal of them.
But, fuck man, thinking of injections make me nervous right away, and when I am close to one I start flipping shit. Like, panicking paranoia kind of shit.

I also had a fear since I was a kid that I may be the only real… ‘thing’ in the world. That nothing else is real and everything is fake.
I had a real problem with it to the point where I needed a therapist to get over it. I still have this horrifying lingering feeling of solipsism to this day, and it really fucking frightens me.

And spiders. Fuck spiders.

lets see
i have a fear of leading (yes i do not like to be in charge all by myself but co-lead is fine)
fear of mannequins (i’m fine in shops but if i have to walk down a hall full of them almost or just all alone i might just freak out a little)

thats not all but i will not share more and it is totally not because i can’t remember if i have other fears.

Clows? Im suprissed nobody said something about clowns..Hell , half of the people I know is scared of clowns. Also rats, not for me, I find them cute for some reason…

Damn dude, that’s actually scaring now that i think about it.

Needles. I’m not even scared of getting stabbed unless its needles and once my friend who didn’t know this had a pen that looked exactly like a needle went up behind me and pretending to stab me I just flailed my arms and smacked him in the face.

The wilderness… not the outdoors, but the BLOODY wilderness!
I am afraid camping, because I fear that an animal will sneak up on me as I sleep, I fear of an animal attack, I despise using any “natural” toilet, and I can’t STAND the thought of how dirty it is in the outdoors. To those who say to me there’s nothing to worry about in the wilderness…

Corners…….it might not be a fear but whenni see the corner of an object in front of me my eye just hurts for some reason. Also, im afraid of the day my (preferred gaming console name here) breaks. I dont know what ill do on that day.

I was afraid of ……. stairs.
Mostly because I was afraid of falling down on my face walking up or my back waking up.
Especially glass stairs where you can look down on the ground , hoping the glass would not break and especially when they freaking design the stairs with big, tick railings that you can hardly grab on. ಠ_ಠ

I’m afraid of a fictional character.
A very fictional character, at that.
No shit.
He is a tall, thin man who wears a suit and no face, and has tentacles spewing out of his back.
Anyone care to guess?

That and the irrational fear of being in a dark, large room. Alone. I feel something like him is close to me when I’m in situations like that.

/\ Slenderman ofcourse.

My only bizarre fear is forgetting things, I like to be able to recall things without an issue and keep all my interesting thoughts and ideas logged down in word docs on my pc, things from locations, quotes, general ideas, words, names and many many many other things. My computer is sort of like a digital memory bank for my own brain

After reading the Lavender Town creepy-pasta…I really don’t want to know anything about Lavender-town or dead-pokemons…
Hell, there’s this tower in Pokemon Diamond…I didn’t even bothered to read whatever the NPCs had to say until I made it to the top…
read the whole creepy story…suddenly I start to hear Lavender town theme in the background…The last floor of the Lost tower is foggy…with pokemon ghosts everywhere…Those were not rocks, these were graves…

And I shat one of the biggest bricks ever..

Diamond was the first pokemon game I played…
Holy crap. I am now pretty damn startled.

well, I have a fear or reaction to things long, small, and sharp.is that when I see a needle for example, if I see the tip in front of my eyes, I think of disturbing things, I feel that my heart is pulled by some sort of string ad i start to feel bad.
