Nations RP: Return to the First

Another one of these. This time, I’ll be resurrecting one of the old worlds. The first, in fact. It will play very closely to the same as that one, so you might want to read up on it, particularly the OP.

Original Thread

In this game you play the role of a survivor nation in the aftermath of the fedora-inspired nuclear apocalypse. The world, particularly Russia, has been ravaged by nuclear war. Nuclear winter settled in, heralding the dawn of a new ice age. Sea levels have dropped thanks to expanding ice caps. Human population has plummeted to levels not seen since the fall of the Roman Empire. Old cities, and much of the technology and infrastructure that went with them, have crumbled with time to weathering and erosion. A few of the most persistent empires have survived, but only hold onto a glimmer of their former glory. The last bastion of human innovation, the Swiss Space Elevator Station, has committed exodus and left the Earth forever. Now it is time to rebuild.

Claim your spot in this game by stating your nation name, a location on the map, a flag, and a color to represent yourself. You may not play as one of the nations already present on the map unless you were the person whom played as that nation in the first game.

Map Key

In order to play, you must send your nation’s actions in PMs to me titled “KYMnatRP” and nothing else. It would help greatly if that was the only title you used. If you must edit your actions, simply send all of your actions for that turn, plus edits, again, with the same title. There is almost no limit to what you may do; be creative!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Will there be limits on the amount of actions per turn this time?

I gathered that huge and complicated lists of actions are what discouraged you from finishing some games (for that, I am deeply sorry)

I would much prefer to simply tell players individually that they are sending me too much than make a rule outright. Sometimes, a lot of actions is necessary and justified. If you are consistently sending too much, I will let you know.

In any case, I want to try and keep my turns simpler this time. I believe my over-thinking/over-contemplating of matters in the last game was one of my weaknesses.

Name: Syserror
Location: The frozen tundra formerly known as Romania
Flag:

Also I get a strong Metro 2033 vibe from this. Will there be mutants?

Location a strip of land along what was along the former West Coast, capital in old palo alto.

Far too large, just pick a specific location.

-You begin the game with a miniscule intellectual class and next to no technological insight. Your people survive by tearing apart the ruins of dead nations. This cannot sustain a world spanning empire for long, and the time has come to either reverse engineer technology from the old world, or reinvent.
-Technologies will not be quickly gained as in previous games. Each one will take many turns to complete. Take up new research projects with caution.
-Please notify me of any mistakes (flags, user/nation names, etc.) that I have made.
-Too many of you chose the same colors so I had to diversity a bit. If you want to change your color, tell me and I will make it so. No pure shades (black, white, gray) are allowed.
-You may now start sending PMs to me containing your turn actions.

I’ll give a map of my new location.
It’s comprised of the places where Persian (Aeriyan) culture has spread the most.

@Iran

If you want all that land, you need to expand into first. Nobody can just begin with a massive empire

@Vlad and Cale

I propose we rebuild the European Union

Okay, I will start with the land of the current nation Iran.

Oh man, there’s hardly anyone else in Aisia. Who wants to rebuild to United Nations?

Well, I’m trying to rebuild and make an empire out of third world nations. But I can still help.

Also, we can be friends, right Weasel?
I’ll share this cake from the labs I found with you.

I’ll ally with you.
However on one condition.
Don’t attack me, ever.

Let’s be pals in this game of world domination!

@Deadpool

Don’t share your turn with us dude. But thanks for the idea.

@Douglas

Really? I can’t tell them apart on my monitor

@Carnotaur

Saying this a moderator. Please don’t quote humongously long posts unless you have to, especially the enormous ones that Syndic will be pumping out. It clutters the page.

Also:

Morussania- South Pole, Antarctica (deal with it.)

He’s in Texas

@Sir Crona

Who wants to rebuild to United Nations?

I’m hoping to at least unite Europe.

Carno wrote:

i wasn’t asking you to pick for me though

ALSO i’m in texas you sillye butte

One or more of you might not be aware of the fact that the word “map” at the top of my turn posts is a link to a picture of the world map. You should click it.

Also, let me echo BSOD in saying not to quote my turn posts, ever.
