Okay, so thanks to The Frosty Lich's Livestreams I made a Livestream account, and as I was watching him play games I thought to myself: "Hey, I have a bunch of movies on my computer. I wonder if people would be interested in a Livestream movie night of sorts?

There isn't yet a set date, time, or even movie to watch because that's up to the rest of you. Obviously if no one cares, I won't bother, and I'm still working out the kinks in making sure there isn't too much lag or jitters or whatever. If you're interested go ahead and say so; I'll try and find a date and time that fits as many peoples' schedules as possible.

As far as movies, well, I have a few dozen to choose from:
-Aliens (Director's Cut)
-Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy
-Argo
-Back to the Future
-Battleship
-Black Hawk Down
-Captain America
-Casino Royal
-Deja Vu
-Die Hard 1, 2, 3, and 4
-Eagle Eye
-End of Watch
-Frost/Nixon
-Inside Man
-Iron Man 3
-Limitless
-Looper
-Michael Clayton
-Next
-Now You See Me
-Ocean's Twelve and Thirteen (no Eleven for god knows what reason)
-Pulp Fiction
-Saving Private Ryan
-Se7en
-Seven Psychopaths
-Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
-Skyfall
-Source Code
-The Avengers
-The Big Lebowski
-The Blues Brothers
-The Dark Knight Rises
-The Expendables 2
-The Hunt for Red October
-The Hurt Locker
-The Shawshank Redemption
-The Truman Show
-Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon
-Unknown
-Wreck-It Ralph
-X-Men First Class

If you're interested in this movie night idea go ahead and say so, as well as what movies you'd want to watch (I'll only be showing one, but it doesn't hurt to mention several favorites) and when you can/can't come.

Good idea, but the question is at what time will be the Livestream? If is in the night like 19:00 – 22:00 everyday except saturdays, it would be ok for me.

I'm planning on late evening to early night, and the actual day is up in the air for the moment--though I'd like to do it sometime this week.

Yeah, even I was already kinda towards Pulp Fiction, mainly because cult classics make for very good movie night material. And Viuff, I know how you're like seven hours ahead of me, so I'm not sure how easily it'd be to integrate you into a movie night, considering I was thinking of doing this between eight and twelve PM (20:00 and 00:00). That'd be early morning for you.

What is your timezone? Given that you use Viuff as an example I'm possibly affected by this as well.

Good point. I'm in the American Central Time Zone, or UTC−06:00. For that reason I was thinking of starting between ten and eleven at night, which would be 8-9 for those on the west coast and 11-12 for those on the east coast, but for Viuff all the way in Denmark that'd be 5-6 in the morning.
I'm rather flexible for my own times, but I would like to do it when the most people could watch.

Alright everybody this is the plan:
I'll be playing Pulp Fiction on Livestream on Friday night starting at 10:00 PM. Considering it's a two and a half hour movie, I'm planning on including a ten-minute intermission around the 1-hour 8-minute mark (between the Prelude to The Gold Watch and The Gold Watch) for bathroom breaks/getting food. I'll also have an encore showing on Saturday at 6:00 PM for people who either want to watch again or missed the first one, with the same ten-minute intermission.

Kay I'm in. Just point me the way and I'll be there.

Just so everyone realizes, I'll be making an announcement thread tomorrow including the link to the Livestream once it starts. I'm thinking of doing this every week, so the new thread will specifically be for announcements.

We doing this again?
Out of your list, I'm leaning towards: The Big Lebowski, The Shawshank Redemption, Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon, and Wreck-It Ralph. I'd like to suggest Dredd or The Raid Redemption as my personal vote thats not on the list.

Just so you all know, I DO plan on doing this more, the only issue now is that college is suddenly getting in my way. There's no way I can keep up the every week idea I had, but perhaps this Friday I'll be streaming something. I'm hoping to get my hands on Sharknado, if anyone's interested in that.

Sharknado? Really? I mean yeah, it would be great for live streaming in the sense that it would be epic comments worthy. I've seen it once and I feel like that was too many times though. SYFY doesn't even try anymore. If you're leaning towards sharks, Deep Blue Sea would be way better. We've already done Pulp Fiction, so having more Samuel Jackson yelling unnecessarily would at least keep to the theme. Either way, I'm in regardless if an abortion of a movie is chosen.
