Hey, I'm here to clarify a few things. Don't worry, I probably won't include my posts in the video.

It's not that I want this thread to last for a few months, it's just that I can't start work on compiling the video until May. I'll be working on animation segments for the vid until then.

And I swear if I see one more thread simulator that doesn’t focus on taking posts out of context and instead just runs the whole fucking thread, including all tl;dr’s, through text-to-speech; I’m going to be breaking some tables….with my ass
I actually cried in anguish from reading your post. No, seriously. I am really in shock or something. I am ready to break down. If I recall correctly, you were disappointed when you didn't make it to my last thread sim. Well, your exact words were "Eh, I can’t believe I missed this.", but that's besides the point.
The thing is, I really want my thread sims to tell stories. With my 1st one being about 5 minutes, and 2nd one clocking in at around 20 minutes… I was actually thinking of releasing this 3rd one in parts (think "episodes" a la Half-Life). This'll give me more time to make the extra content (the frame-by-frame animations, 3D text, KYM-tan derivatives of certain memes, images with KYM inside jokes) I usually spend a lot of time on.
It actually took me an hour to edit the 2 KYM pages in MS Paint to say "Over 9000" everywhere just for your post in thread sim 1, and yes, the short compilation of the first few "The internet can now find stars" images set to the DuckTales moon theme in thread sim 2 involved me right-clicking and saving each image on my own. I didn't use a "download-all-images" browser extension or something because I actually really care about all you guys and I know you all deserve the very best. By now, some of you may be saying:
"BUT WHY IS YOUR THREAD SIM 2 JUMPY (such as when "Guest Journal" is read twice) AND BADLY EDITED (the images desync with the audio) THEN?!?! BLARGH"
That's because my first 2 thread sims were made in Toon Boom Studio (yes, that animation program alternative to Adobe Flash) and crashes were frequent, making me lose a lot of progress on certain parts, but still, I carried on and recreated them from memory. Thread Sim 2 took a few days ahead of the intended release date to come out because the problem was solved by working on the video in parts, and stitching it together in the YouTube editor, as I didn't have Sony Vegas (which is what Thread Sim 3 should be made in) at this time.
As I read the above post by the one and only Blue Screen of Death (one of my favourite people on the planet), I got really disheartened. I think I need a moment to calm down…
Thanks everyone.
