Make the weirdest fandom you can think of!

Okay, so how this will work is that you will imagine a fandom for a piece of media (novel, movie, etc.) that would be the last thing you’d expect to have a fandom. You will post the piece of media, the name of the fans, a shipping war within the fandom, and other details you can think of.

I’ll start.

True Grit fandom
Name of fans: Gritters
Shipping war: Rooster Cogburn/LaBoeuf & Mattie Ross/LaBoeuf

So I went on random-movie-picker.com to ensure the full randomness of this.

I got this:

Tooth Fairy Movie Fandom

Fandom Name: The Believers

Ship War: Derek/Carly vs. Derek/Tooth Fairy

well, but the problem is, from what I’ve seen, there’s a fandom for practically everything that exists.

For instance…. there is technically a “toothfairy fandom”. ~shivers~

It almost exists?

The Memes-You-Know fandom, with their members called the Memeologists.

It tries to force stupid in-jokes under the banner of creating “memes.” Most of these “memes” are based on stupid animals such as a blue rabbit, a white deer, a teal pony, and a mecha goat.

The entire fandom is also filled with faggots so the only things said animal memes do is give advice and have sex (preferably gay). The latter also makes it so that there are no real shipping wars in the fandom because the entire fandom is just one big fucking bestiality orgy.

…..

Wait a minute…

Guys hear me out. I might get a lot of flak for this, but Kratt’s Creatures is the best thing that’s ever been on television.

First of all, just look at these guys. Chris and Martin Kratt.

Yeah, I know they’re “brothers” on the show, but tell me there isn’t something… more going on here.

Whatever, my headcanon aside, these guys are actual animal researchers doing actual animal science. Don’t believe me? Check out their assistant.

She’s got this sickass computer system, and like a million books. She stays back at base while Chris and Martin do the fieldwork. Now, THAT’S science.

What’s more, THIS guy lives on her computer!

His name is Ttark, and he’s a creature. Just look at that CHARACTER DESIGN. Does it get any better than this? And what’s more, he’s just so abso-tively SNARKY! The animation is just top-notch.

Don’t get me started on the soundtrack. They manage to evoke the emotion of wherever they are exploring to really get you into the scene. Ocean, Savannah, you name it, they have a sound for it. It really adds to the experience.

They have all sorts of neat gizmos to help you learn about why animals act the way they do. They’re not just going to SEE the animals, but find out what it’s like to BE the animals.

Long story short, you should really watch this show. After a few episodes I was totally hooked.

And I got so upset when the network decided to cancel it and replace it with some jumping lemur crap. It really lemur-jumped the shark at that point. I feel like they took creative control away from the Kratts just to sell more toys.
