I noticed that most people on this are American, so I was wandering if anyone here has heard of Wales, where I live.
You’ve probably never seen a map of the uK if you don’t know what Wales is. Just saying.
I’ve heard of Wales definitely. Just never known anyone from there.
Whadda bout me!
Oh yes Dinner, I know you. I actually found a Photo of you.
This maps out every whale I’ve ever heard of.
Did somebody say…Whales?
Whales? In my Wales?
It’s more likely than you think
Notice the tiny font…
THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT SHARKS.
You know, I speak Wale.
Whale Shark FTW!
Bet no one here can speak Welsh.
This thread is why ye Welsh need to hurry up and get your freakin’ independence movement up and running. You ask the world about your culture and it replies bout talking about whales :P
Well you can probably guess from my username I’m from Wales. I used to speak Welsh but just forgot after not using it for so long. It’s an impossible task trying to teach people about Wales, it’s way easier to just accept all the Whale jokes :P At least they’re funny.
THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT SEAKING, RULER OF ALL VIDEO GAME OCEANS.
F*CK YEAH SEAKING!
SEAKING! F#CK YEAH!
I love the unpronounceable names of your villages! :)
Yeah.Like Abersoch, Pwllheli, Dolgellau and llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
ahahaha, yeah! llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch which is the Uk’s longest village name . Isn’it?
By the way, how the hell do you pronounce it?
With a name like that, I’d rather call it Gogoch.
I’ve heard of Wales: it’s home to the Cardiff branch of Torchwood. =)
Here’s some Welsh slang for ya:
De- as in “you know what I mean de?!” (Mainly used in caernarfon)Means right.
Dew dew- Well well
Sti- you know (a bit like de, but only used in Welsh)
Da booze- the drink (used in the south)
Malu cachu- Literally translates as breaking poo. Means waffling.
Wir dduw- true god (Like god give me strength)
