True, but the biggest letdowns ever for me were Saints Row 2 (worst sequel ever) and NMH2. Other Em was just silleh.

What about Too Human… or Settlers 5… Broken Sword 4… Noddy …

X3 Terran conflict, its actually a very well developed game with good controls, and good graphics, but the problem is the starting, it just so slow it hurts..

Other M was disappointing for me when I found out that it's mostly 3rd person.

the only reason fable was so disappointing is because the creater was like "if jesus was a game he would be this" and we just trusted he wasn't lying

Mercenaries 2 was sorta horrible, it was still fun blowing the crap out of things for 10$ but I felt they still should have done more, even than EA's making a third mercenaries..

EA makes too many shitty sequels.

All my friends loved other M, and it was better then halo reach.

Mechassault. Completely killed the battletech game series.

I haven't played either because I cannot afford Other M and I do not have a system to play Reach with. And I probably won't ever have that second one.

Tetris is one of my favorite games >:3

I was personally disappointed with Ratchet: Deadlocked.
The environments were somewhat similar (mostly boring land terrain or arenas), the levels were too linear, and they screwed up the weapon upgrading system.

It certainly wasn't a bad game, but I was sad :(

Though I don't completely agree with you on Tetris being a disappointing game, you and I can't deny though that the game has got one of the best themes ever conceived.

Just got mah GameImformer, Other M got a 6.25/10.

Ryuu ga Gotoku 3 was disappointing to me as well. The first 2 games were amazing on so many levels but the 3rd is just a baby sitting game with fight scenes jammed into it.
Im looking forward to the 5th game tho, "Ryuu ga Gotoku End" >:3

My main complaint with other M is that Samus was whipped, the controls were basically broken too.
Fable is a great game that's not even up for debate as for two that's a whole 'nother story.
Ratchet: Deadlocked was an awful attempt to make the games darker & edgier
Saints Row 2 was an ok game but not really anything to write home about.
Mercenaries 2 was sub par and a big let down, with the worst driving mechanics I have seen In a long time.
and Tetris is the King of Puzzle games.

Fable sucked.

I'm not sure of the validity of his claim, but Brentalfloss claims that Mega Man 2 was tight, Mega Man 3 was good, Mega Man 4 was pretty good, Mega Man 5 & 6 were okay, and Mega Man 7 was shite and sucked big dinosaur balls.

You do realize a good portion of the series is entirely 3rd person.

I dunno. I never played anything really disappointing.

But again, I only play PS games…

It hurts a lot more when you choose a game you played as a kid, and realize it sucks..

I didn't really mind Fable 2, but it was abit easy given you only lost abit of exp from dying and it was pretty easy to amass an insane amount of money with great ease and even than there was nothing, short of a few health potions and a weapon or two to spend it on.

Otherwise I don't remember any other games I was REALLY Dissapoint in.

Yeah I remember how in medieval total war 2 the gunpowder units are near useless except for cannons.

@Twilitlord: The 2D games are supposed to be 3RD person. The 3D games should be 1st person.

It's not even out yet, but I say TOR. It's an mmo. Kotor is NOT an mmo. The game developers are thinking more about money in their pockets than what fans want.

@Cjay, YES!!!! I wish they would just make KOTOR3 instead of this stupid MMO. Thats one of my favorite series of games and they halt it with this dumb MMO crap that CANT be nearly as good as playing as Darth Revan or The Outcast.

Final Fantasy 14.
I know it's not out yet, but you're only allowed to play 8 hours a week.

Final Fantasy 14 is also supposed to be a terribly boring grindfest with little or no fun in it.

Sonic '06. I've never played it, but it's probably the most disappointing SEGA game ever.

Sonic Unleashed was rather disappointing as well.
Not as bad as 06, but still bad.
