Hallo!
I have an old laptop (Pentium II) that I use occasionally for old Dos and 1990s games with which I have a problem. Are there any tech-savvy folks who can help me determine what’s up? I can’t defragment the hard-drive. The thing keeps resetting itself. I left it on for 5 hours during a defrag. and it only got to 14%. What do?
Any help slash links would be much appreciated, or stories of old computers or games just for fun, for that matter.

Personally, I use a program called Defraggler to defrag. It is exponentially better than the windows default defrag program.

You can download it Here

Let me know how it goes.

1.Buy a new computer, if you want you could use a freeware called DosBox which lets you play old games like Xcom.

2.Reinstall your OS, virus make quick work of older operating systems.

Thanks F!tzy, I’ll let you know how it goes.
Sweatie Killer: Can’t afford a new computer, but have DosBox on the old one… Guess I’ll try reinstalling Windows 95
