I watched a few popular animes, but not too many, so tell me what you guys recommend that isn't that gay.

also, my uncles are trying to get me to watch The Twelve Kingdoms. that's how I ended up watching anime in the first place is because of those two uncles.

I mostly watch trippy anime and the one I'm enjoying the most is The Tatami Galaxy. I haven't finished it yet though. It's only 11 episodes long. I think this one would be more your speed. Personally, I think the show needs a dub since the subs move too fast. you can watch them all on youtube on funimation's channel.
