You can use HTML or textile markup. The easy way is to copy the URL of the image, paste it into your post, and then put an exclamation mark at each end.
Like this:
! yourpic'surlhere.jpg !
Without the spaces, of course.

Yeah. That also works.
I use it all the time when I don't have enough patience to type out the codes.
