I was just wondering, as a Deadpool fan, why fake posts are “Deadpool flagged”.
Does this refer to my favorite Marvel Comic hero?

When an article gets rejected, we place it in the “Deadpool”.
Users like to post images of Marvel’s Deadpool when they believe an article is pointless and should be rejected, simply saying it should be put in the Deadpool. It’s not linked with the character from Marvel, the names just happen to be similar.
Please do not add pictures of deadpool to entries that are deadpooled or that you think should be deadpooled, please.
It saves us work when cleaning the image database if there aren’t any deadpool images to deal with.

Ah, so it’s just a coincidence then. I was worried someone was trying to make my favorite marvel hero a forced meme.
Thanks for the answer!
Actually, due to that coincidence Deadpool has developed in some sort of inside joke among us.
He’s considered to be one of our unofficial mascots in some sort.
