It has been rumored that moot has sold ad space basically as sticky threads on /b/. Every time you refresh /b/ the "ad" pops up as one of the threads on page one. GTFO or "guy's gotta eat"? The rebuttal is that those spam bots stay constant on /b/ because they might as well because they get hits with minimal efforts i.e. for free. Do you think moot is selling out ad space or that spambots are capturing space for free because they might as well since it is easy and nobody can stop them? I have noticed lately that certain spambot threads have been more constantly present than they were a month or two ago, and also that those threads are constantly bumped by obvious bumpbots.
