How do I upload a picture to KYM and have it not be part of a meme? Like, for use in the forums and such.

Just don't select an article to upload it to. It'll just appear on your "uploaded photos" page then you could copypasta its URL to a forum where you could use the "!" format to post it as a pic. Just put the image's URL in between two exclamation points (!) and you're good to go. It'll appear as an image.

btw not a noob question it took me hours to figure it out.

So just leave it on "Please select"?

This tripped me up for the longest time. I had tried uploading to Please Select before but it didn't work, I think the site was under maintenance then.
