So I was at work today (I sell music tech), and I happened to spot a new product on our shelves.
Now if you don't already know the type of headset connection used on the ps4 is the same as on the iphone (I've tested my iphone headphones to confirm this). So any iphone made headset will work on ps4.
There is actually a company that making recording devices for iphones, this is their new product
Its a microphone preamp that supports pretty much all types of microphones, hook a great mic into this guy and you are going to get way better quality than the headset plebs.
