Have any of you guys ever kickstarted or funded anything online?

I've had an idea for a while that I've considered doing a Kickstarter for, if I can even get started on it for proof-of-concept type stuff.

KYM members are too shit-tier to kickstart anything.

I've kickstarted Mighty No 9 and Shantae. Wish I had kickstarted shovel knight though…

The only thing I've kickstarted was the Bronycon documentary.

I've kickstarted about 5 projects. I regret 4 of them.

• One was for a band I used to like. That one turned out okay.
• One was for a sprayable energy shot. It turned out soso.
• One was for a "strong" micro usb cable 2 inches long. I paid about $10 too much for it.
• One was for a "micro-phone" credit card sized cellphone. My perk never came in the mail. Some bullshit about Hong Kong customs holding it up or possibly destroying it due to the lithium ion battery.
• One was for a pocket translator that could store translations and possibly be used without internet. Still waiting on it. They keep sending updates, but I think they would have been better invested in making a smartphone app/software instead of trying to create a physical hardware device to carry around.

TL;DR: Never again.
