“Are you Fucking Kidding Me” began, like most exploitables, on 4chan. The rage-style comics are star a character who simply cannot believe the stupidity of others, hence the phrase “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Some reports claim the face originated on FunnyJunk, this is probable due to the fact that FunnyJunk is the only place where the oldest non-rage comics can be found. This does mean the meme came from FunnyJunk, but it is the oldest instance.
The meme is very similar to Rageguy in style and layout. It’s pretty much like all other 4-pane exploitables.
The meme has been replaced (at least on reddit) by the Are You Serious/David Silverman face. Currently, it’s used as a face in most rage comics, not as the last panel.

I seen this on more then one website besides funnyjunk so yes its a meme. +1 confirm.

This started out as a forced meme on Funnyjunk, I was there when it happened. Funnyjunk got a boner over the idea of having their own meme so they thumbed it up. So yeah, it’s from Funnyjunk.
