About

Aziz is a Dutch Rage Comic serie created by the administrator and users of the popular dutch imageboard "Dejimachan". Jedi-Mocro first called it "bezemhoofd" which means nothing really in Dutch street slang, but later on other people start calling it "Aziz", which is a typical Moroccan name, and "Waz met jou", a phrase usually accompanied with the comic.

Aziz depicts the stereotype of Moroccan street youth in the Netherlands. This is accompanied by the street language and other typical Dutch stereotypes. Dejimachan is known for it's use of Dutch street slang and culture in their image macros and memes.

Origin

The first comic date back to the 15th November of 2011 on Dejimachan’s /b/ board with the introduction of the comic. The comics’ stories were mostly about funny street life circumstances that lead to a confused reaction.

loop op straat, vraag meisje nummer Nee sorry, heb al vriendje Ewa safi, geen probleem jwz komt wa3hed kankerneger langs MAAK JE EEN faka dushi wat is je BB PING? IAdjghva ADJBSD hihi

The first Aziz comic.

Spread

On the 6th of November the users of Dejimachan threatened a Dutch forum called "FOK!" to sue them because "FOK!" placed the comics of Aziz on their website. The next day the administrator deleted the topic due to a "copyright claim" which resulted into many LULZ of the users of Dejimachan.

On the 5th February 2012 the Dutch rip-off of 9GAG, 9NAG or Nedermeme, showed the Aziz comic for the first time on their website, the users of Dejimachan were enraged and started a so-called "DDoS-attack", the server of 9NAG was down after one hour but that didn't change the mind of the administrator of 9NAG, two weeks later the administrator relaunched his website but instead of unabashedly copying he mentioned the author and his website in every Aziz post.

It can now be spotted on FOK! from time to time.
