Bob the Builder's main catchphrase was "Yes we can!" He would say this whenever a citizen of his hometown of Bobville would ask him if he could fix something. Barack Obama used the phrase "Yes we can!" when referring to making change in America. Both of these people use the same catchphrase, which is where the idea of this mash-up came from.
