"Don't Do It Phedon" is a phenomenon that is well known in Greece. It was first said by Uri Geller during a live performance for the TV show "The Successor of Uri Geller".
Origin
During a live performance for the show "The Successor of Uri Geller" in Greece, Uri Geller was watching a rather dangerous act by one of the contenders. While the contender was pointing a nail-gun to his head, Geller stood up and shouted "Don't Do It Phedon". (trivia: the contender's name was not Phedon, but Neofitos).
About the Show: The Successor of Uri Geller
The Successor is a television program starring Uri Geller. It started off in Israel, in 2006 and spread to international versions (again staring Uri Geller himself), including Greece. The Greek version was hosted by Christos Ferendinos and on the television network ANT1. The goal of the show is for Uri to find someone to adopt the same claims as his.
