On a live stream by AkiraLateNight, Akira took Skype call by a follower of the show. This guy played around with his laser pointer and told Akira that he is a "middle-aged" guy. Akira then coined the name GeekUncle, in reference to his age. That night (Halloween) the hashtag #GeekUncle bekame #4 trending topic worldwide on Twitter. The legend of "GeekUncle" was born.
