In September 26, 2008, a Youtuber named ShoeYork posted a video called Georgie Pants. The video depicted baseball celebrity George Brett talking about soiling himself the night before to a fellow player. Eventually he gets into a story about having the runs in Vegas and his teammate repeatedly tries to escape the profane conversation, but fails.

As the video gained popularity, remixes and parodies where soon to follow.
