Sexism

On November 27th, 2012, Reddtior LaTeX_fetish[15] posted his survey of the 1390 Good Girl Gina image macros that were submitted to Quickmeme between the page’s creation date and September 27th, 2012, in an attempt to identify the primary traits that make Gina a "good" girl. The findings of the study revealed that 443 of the instances contained messages of sexualization or objectification, with the rest of captions pertaining to other male-centric ideals such as openness to oral and anal sex, availability for sex, embracement of female stereotypes, preparing food and "not rocking the boat" by steering clear of controversial or typically mundane activities. The study was featured on the Daily Dot[16] the following day.
