Gutsman's Ass is an exploitable meme that comes from a YouTube Poop video. The image of Gutsman's Ass, as well as its associated sound effect, has seen use in several other YouTube Poop videos and fan tributes.

Origin

On June 10th, 2007, YouTube user Kajetokun posted the YouTube Poop titled "GUTSMAN'S ASS". The video uses a scene from the Mega Man animated series episode titled "Bad Day At Peril Park". In the scene, Mega Man, Dr. Light, Rush, and Roll encounter two people in mascot costumes. However, Rush, growls at them and tears off the back of the kangaroo costume, which reveals that it was Guts Man in the suit all along by showing his exposed backside and a "da-nuh!" sound effect. The video continues by playing the sound effect during other scenes in the show and sometimes showing Gutsman's ass along with it. The video (reupload shown below) received over 900,000 views until June 15th, 2010, when it was removed from YouTube due to copyright claims.^[1]

Spread

On August 2nd, 2007, YouTube user Ciuciciao posted a YouTube Poop video which inserts Gutsman's Ass into various Family Guy scenes. The video (shown below, left) received over 95,000 views in over sixteen years. On November 12th, 2009, YouTube user Newtwarrior posted a recreation of Gutsman's ass as a creature in the video game Spore. The video (shown below, right) received over 24,000 views in over thirteen years.

On August 26h, 2016, YouTube user Bit Runners posted a compilation video of Gutsman's Ass being inserted into various videogame scenes. The video (shown below, left) received over 25,000 views in over six years. On February 18th, 2017, YouTube user marshmallowok posted a YouTube Poop video which inserts Gutsman's Ass into various scenes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The video (shown below) received over 5.9 million views in over six years.
