''Ah, d'ya hear that Lads…He says we'll blunt the Knives'' is a line spoken by the Dwarf, 'Bofur' in Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey'. It is in retort to Bilbo Baggins' vocal concerns that (in banging the Table with them cutlery) the Dwarves will 'blunt the knives'. It is also a jocular remark which spurs on the other Dwarves, resulting in a Jovial singsong.
