I GOT NORTON is a meme that sprung up on /b/ after someone took a screen cap from two WOW users and was posted on 7chans /b/. The original post was a screen cap of the conversation between the two during a discussion of trading a character profile on WOW. After haggling WoWfan4life, attempted to fraud by suggesting he be able to try the account before the trade/purchase. Deciding to go for it afullmoon1 reluctantly agreed and was soon scammed by WoWfan4life. Instead of lying down afullmoon1 proceeded to get the other WoWfag’s OrgName, OrgID, IRL Address, City, State, Country, and Phone number. As afullmoon1 began to threaten retaliation. WoWfan4life simply laughed saying the famous line “stupid ass u cant hack or nuthin” “I GOT NORTON”
Soon after, afullmoon1 calls WoWfan4life’s phone number and the internet tough guyism vanishes he then proceeds to plead saying lulzy things such as “please please don’t call.” and when asked why he wouldn’t answer the phone. “cuz dude my mom”
