"My Wife's Son" is a self-deprecative term of address used by anonymous users on 4chan to poke fun at politically liberal or regressive leftist beta males as being cuckolds by implying that their significant others have had extramarital relationships. On 4chan, the term is frequently used in replies to insult the original poster (OP) and oftentimes paired with references to other memes, most notably Carl the Cuck and "Don't Talk to Me or My Son Ever Again".
Origin
On August 30th, 2015, an anonymous user on 4chan's /fit/ (fitness) board started a thread titled ">tfw brought my wife's son to the gym for the first time today and showed him some basic exercises". Later that same day, a screenshot of the thread was submitted to Reddit's /r/4chan, where it accrued 1,186 upvotes prior to being archived.

On December 18th, 2015, an anonymous user on 4chan's /int/ (international) board started a thread to complain about his "wife's son" Nathan's reluctance towards recognizing the OP as an authority figure (shown below).
The term has been most frequently used on select boards within 4chan; search queries for 'my wife's son' yield over 4,400 archived results on /pol/ (politically incorrect) board[1] and 4,300 archived results on /tv/ board[2].
Gillette's "We Believe: The Best Men Can Be" Video
On January 13th, 2019, the Gillette YouTube channel uploaded a short film titled "We Believe: The Best Men Can Be" (shown below). The video promotes the website TheBestMenCanBe, which combats behaviors some have described as "toxic masculinity". Within 24 hours, the video gained over 121,000 views and 6,800 comments. Additionally, the video received more than 24,000 dislikes to 3,900 likes.
In the comments section of the video, YouTuber Dash Attack replied "My wife's son loved this. Thank you!", to which Gillette responded they were "happy to hear" (shown below). In response, many mocked Gillette for replying to the comment. That day, several posts mocking the interaction reached the front page of the /r/the_donald[22][23] and /r/CringeAnarchy[24] subreddits.
