After 9/11, although a very sad incident, I was learning photoshop. My dad is an architect, so I decided to try something out.

I made the referenced image (dark humor or not), without knowing what to expect. I emailed the image to him, and all he did was to forward it to a couple of colleagues. The rest is history.

At first it was on everyone's inbox, but then it hit the local newspapers. Then, the national newspapers. When on prime-time, national mexican TV this was aired, it was only a matter of time it went global.

It was on many sites, newspapers and TV shows worldwide. It was even mentioned on CNN. It's easy to find out, just google it up ("nuevastorres") on image search and you will find many sources that still has this image, almost 10 years after.

No doubt-about it….this was 100% viral.
