No es Tan Caro is a comic or reaction image type meme used as a sarcastic way to comment on the injustice of capitalism or to satirize the opinions that the rich supposedly have of the poor. The meme is notable for showing the hypocrisy of rich people or kids in order to attack the wealthy or industrial capitalism in general.

This meme is very popular in South America and Spain, and a rough English translation means "It's not that expensive!"

This meme began on Christmas of 2011, in the Cali Fair, when the then-mayor of Cali, Jorge Ivan Ospina, put up huge barriers designed to block the viewing of a specific Salsa dancing parade. The blockers were erected to prevent non-paying patrons of the community event form seeing the parade. In doing so, he broke several laws, and violated the traditions and customs of the cultural event. When asked about the walls, he simply responded that the ticket price "No es tan caro!"
