The "Pedoface" meme originated at a highschool in Sydney, Australia where friends of a teenage boy named Gavan decided they would turn his already cult like following photo into a meme. Initial iterations included the "are you serious?" face and more.
The general layout of Pedoface is a medium-close up shot depicting Gavans face, accompanied by a juxtaposition which usually states an innocent statement then in the lower text makes the statement disturbing and/or creepy. An example is "What is the difference between a baby and meatball subs?"(upper text) "i dont eat meatball subs"(lower text).
