Chriddof

Chris Lyons ('Chriddof') is a British animator, voice actor, editor and writer, and the creator of a number of surrealist YouTube videos.

He is renowned mostly for his strange works of glitched, bugged and twisted 3D animations and various random pieces of video footage. The majority of his footage is sourced from public domain broadcasts and television advertisements. His most popular videos include the 'Funny Horsie' series, 'Sally Sargent', 'Mr. Sir' and 'Shitting in the 1940s'.

There have been at least eight YouTube accounts linked to Chriddof: 'arseandrubbish', 'TheChriddofArchives', 'Chriddof2', 'MrChriddofIII', 'LoopsByChriddof', 'ChrisLyons3000', 'ItsChriddof', and, currently, 'MyNameIsChriddof'. All but the latest of his accounts have been deleted. In September 2011, he attributed the deleted accounts and works to anxiety and depression in a video titled 'Announcement'.

Notable fans of Chriddof's work include Stuart Ashen ('Ashens') and Edward Gould ('Eddsworld'). Several tribute videos to Chriddof include How to improve your bread and Facilitating the Rapture and afterlife.

In July 2011, ChrisLyons3000 announced to his fans that he would be leaving YouTube once again, in order to find an alternative video-sharing website. This plan was abandoned shortly after.

In August 2011, the ChrisLyons3000 account was closed. A new account ('ItsChriddof') followed later that month.

His latest account, MyNameIsChriddof, was created in September 2011 after a short break following the deletion of the ItsChriddof account.

MyNameIsChriddof was deleted on the 14th January 2012, again attributed to anxiety.

According to Chriddof's website, he obtained a new YouTube account known as 'Icantgoalongwiththat' and has recently uploaded his lastest videos from 4 November 2011.

In 10 February 2012, Chriddof announced a YouTube channel which archived almost every single video created by him from 2006 – 2012, known as 'fizzymilk1989'.
